I often think of faith as something “spiritual,” something “out there,” invisible, untouchable, unmeasurable.
Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the *substance *of things hoped for, the *evidence *of things not seen.” (I put those italics in.)
Faith is not invisible. Faith is action. It’s the physical proof that we have something to hope for.
By faith Abel sacrificed . . .
By faith Noah prepared an ark . . .
By faith Abram went out . . .
By faith he offered up Isaac . . .
By faith the walls of Jericho fell . . .
By faith the Author and Finisher was crucified, and then came back to life.
